1. A term used to describe one's male significant other (boyfriend, husband, sugar daddy, etc.)

2. An informal, casual greeting among friends. By extension, it could also be used as a platonic term of endearment similar to "bro."

3. An expression used to describe satisfaction or amazement at someone's capabilities.

1 "I'm taking my man on a cruise to Mexico next month."

2 "My man! How ya doing?"

3 -"Yo I singlehandedly kept 'watermelon sugar' at the top of Urban Dictionary's trending list."

This is a person who is your friend. This also means that this person is a close friend. This phrase can also mean that you know someone but you do not know there name. This also replaces the word "hello".

A phrase with the tonal flexibility of saying everything from "Hell yeah, bro" to "You are one smart motherfucker" (Just like Denzel Washington often says in the film American Gangster). It can be used in almost any situation that involves one's friends or enemies.
